Hi guys! It’s been a while, but here I am with a brand new blog post, YAY! Lately I’ve been super into trying different beauty tools. Just wanted to share with you my experiences with the Jade Face Roller and Gua Sha Stone. So yea, let’s go!
The Jade Face Roller
The first tool I tried was the Jade Roller. This tool has really been blowing up lately on social media. More and more people are talking about it and incorporating it into their skincare routine. Naturally I was really interested and wanted to see for myself what it could do.
So, what are the benefits of Jade Rolling? Many people say it helps to slim their face and give their skin a beautiful glow. I was a bit sceptical about this first statement, as jade rolling is just massaging your face with a smooth stone. Though I noticed, when using it in the morning, it does really help to depuff my face and gives me a beautiful glow. This for me confirms the benefit that it increases circulation to your skin. Increasing the amount of oxygen and nutrients flowing to its surface and blood flow, giving you that gorgeous glow. The roller can also be used on the sides of your neck to help massage and promote better circulation in the lymph areas where toxins can build up.
The Gua Sha Stone
Gua Sha massaging promises to give you an instant natural facelift. This is what made me very interested in trying it for myself. Could it really help me sculpt and lift my face? When using it for the first time I was surprised to find that it actually worked! The largest difference I noticed with lifting my brows. Somehow they actually stayed in the desired position, giving my eyes a much more open look.
Sounds great! But what’s the catch? Obviously massaging your face with a Gua Sha stone once, won’t give you long term results. You will have to continue using the stone everyday to maintain the results.
So what do I recommend? Using a Jade Roller or a Gua Sha Stone? It really depends on what your goals are. Do you want to use a beauty tool to get a beautiful glow? Then I suggest you use the Jade Face Roller. But, are you seeking to get an instant natural facelift? Then the Gua Sha stone is the one for you! I actually like to use both and so combine both their strengths. As the Jade Roller is a little easier to use and gives me a more relaxed feeling, this is the tool I use more often. Though I love the results massaging my face with a Gua Sha stone gives me!
I hope this gave you a little insight into using beauty tools and what may work best for you. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask! x
